Q. What’s included when I purchase door handles?
A. Each set includes:
- Two handles
- Striker plate
- Locking mechanism (depending on the type of handle you have selected)
- Installation instructions and templates
Q. Can I install my own door handles?
A. Of course! If you’re new to DIY you may find our installation guides useful. You’ll also need a drill, chisel and screwdriver. Take your time, double check your measurements and you’ll be fine!
Q. What process is used for coating your door levers and other hardware?
A. We use electroplating, powder coating or PVD coating across our range. Our levers are electroplated. Each method ensures a durable finish that stands up to wear and tear, maintaining the unique look of your hardware over time.
Q. Do you have a showroom where I can view your hardware?
A. At Hardware Box we've embraced the efficiency and convenience of an online-only business model, so we do not have a showroom.
We understand the value of being able to interact with physical products, so we offer free finish samples using actual door handle roses, many product images and detailed dimensions and specs. If you have any other questions or queries don’t hesitate to contact us, we’re happy to help!

A. No problem – it happens! We offer a 30-day guarantee. If you decide to return your item, we’ll provide a refund of the original purchase price (excluding the original shipping cost).

Q. I can’t add an item to my cart!
A. If you're having trouble adding an item to your cart, it's likely because it’s out of stock. We aim to keep our inventory updated and as accurate as possible.
If you’d like an automatic email when your item is back in stock, you will see an option to subscribe when viewing an item that is currently out of stock. For more immediate concerns, feel free to reach out to our customer service for an ETA.
Q. How quickly will you ship my order?
A. We generally ship orders within 24hrs - 48hrs of them being placed. Please note: Our warehouse only operates Monday- Friday. Shortly after your order is dispatched, you should receive an email with the tracking information - don’t forget to check your spam folder if you can’t see it.
Q. How much is shipping?
A. We do our best to keep shipping simple and affordable. Your shopping cart will automatically calculate your freight costs based on order size and location before you have committed to the purchase.
Q. If I order several items at once, will they be delivered together?
A. Yes – we do not split shipments. Your items will be packed and delivered together.
